Ultra Premium Telephoto Lens Released. Tests on Smartphones Shown to Outperform DSLRs!

If you often take photos with your phone, this might be the most interesting article you will ever read.

HDZoom360 today announced they have released a super-premium smartphone telephoto lens that brings professional image quality to today's smartphone cameras.
Images produced by HDZoom360 have been tested and found to equal or exceed the photos produced by lenses from the top makers in the world. We're extremely proud to have manufactured such a high-quality product at such a modest price point, thanks to computer design and advanced CCD fabrication.
We've all experienced moments where what you see is far more epic than what you can capture with your smartphone camera. Most of the time you try and try, hoping for that lucky photo but all you get are blurry shaky images. With HDZoom360, you will be able to zoom in 18x and focus on what your smartphone can’t. With its included stabilizing tripod, you will get the perfect picture every time!

ZOOM In & Get Focused...

HDZoom360 lenses are Ultra Multi Coated to enhance contrast in all light conditions, allowing for great photos in any environment.

HDZoom360 easily mounts to all smartphones - Apple, Android and virtually any other phone made by any manufacturer. You don’t need any special knowledge or technical ability. Simply clip on the lens with the high-tensile adjustable bracket and attach to its stabilizing tripod. It only takes seconds!

Why Does It Work so Well?

HDZoom360 uses real glass to magnify the image. It's called optical zoom.
When you zoom in using your standard phone's camera it is called digital zoom. Digital zoom is not really zoom. It takes a central portion of the image and enlarges it, thus 'simulating’ optical zoom. The result? Low quality images. If you've been regularly using digital zoom on your phone and wondered why your pictures do not look that great, now you know why.
In contrast, optical zoom is a true zoom. It uses optics (lens) to bring the subject closer. This is the only way you can get amazingly sharp pictures across the focal range.

Where can I buy it?

You can buy it directly from the company's website by clicking here.

Guess what, last week we ordered a kit ourselves to see if the lenses really stand up to their claims...
We could already tell by its packaging that this is a premium product. Inside there was the high performance 8 x 18 zoom lens, a clip-on to make sure the lens fits your phone and a stabilizing tripod.
First of all, it is unbelievable how crisp and clear pictures taken with HDZoom360 lens look! Even our followers on Facebook and Instagram immediately noticed the immense change in quality of our images that we often share.
You can literally zoom all the way in without losing much of the image quality! If you have ever tried zooming on your smartphone, you know how terrible the images turn out. This is a game changer!
We absolutely love HDZoom360 and think that every smartphone owner should get this lens. Seriously, it's just like having a professional camera in your pocket!

Windows 3.1: Twenty-five years later, it's still a Microsoft milestone

Imagine a world without the Start button. No, I'm not talking about Windows 8. Dig deep into your memory, and you may recall a time when Windows 3.1 ruled the Earth.

Twenty-five years ago this month, Microsoft released version 3.1 of its MS-DOS graphical-shell-turned-operating-system. Windows 3.1 became the first version of Windows to be widely distributed with new PCs, cementing the dominance of Microsoft's OS on the IBM PC platform and signaling the dawn of the Golden Age of Windows.

In honor of this anniversary, let's take a visual tour through Windows 3.1. In the following slides, I'll highlight many of the innovations this colorful GUI brought to Windows for the first time.

St Petersburg metro bombing suspect 'from Kyrgyzstan'

The man suspected of killing 14 people by bombing a St Petersburg train is a native of Kyrgyzstan who obtained Russian citizenship, the Central Asian country's security service says.
Forty-nine people were injured in the explosion between two underground stations on Monday afternoon.
The Kyrgyz security service named the bomber as Akbarzhon Jalilov, who it said was born in Osh in 1995.
There are conflicting reports as to whether he was a suicide bomber.
Kyrgyz state media said the country's security service was "maintaining contact with the Russian secret service for further investigation".

Authorities in St Petersburg have declared three days of mourning.
The death toll was raised from 11 to 14 on Tuesday morning after three people died in hospital.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was in St Petersburg - his home city - when the blast occurred, visited the scene on Monday evening and laid flowers at a makeshift shrine.
Russian investigators have given few details. No group has said it was responsible.

World leaders rallied behind Russia in condemning the blast.
The White House said President Donald Trump had spoken to Mr Putin by phone and offered "full support" in bringing those responsible to justice.
"Both President Trump and President Putin agreed that terrorism must be decisively and quickly defeated," a statement said.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel described the blast as a "barbaric act" and EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said Europe's thoughts were with the Russian people.

First images from the scene showed a train at Tekhnologichesky Institut station with a hole blown in its side and wounded passengers on the platform.
Initial reports suggested there had been two explosions, one each at Sennaya Ploshchad and Tekhnologichesky Institut stations.
But the Russian National Anti-Terrorist Committee later confirmed there had been only one explosion, between the two stations, at about 14:30 local time

Senior investigator Svetlana Petrenko told Russian media the train driver's decision to continue to the next station almost certainly helped save lives, as it allowed people to be rescued quickly.
Andrei Przhezdomsky, the head of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee, said the explosion was caused by "an unidentified explosive device".
The discovery of an explosive device at another station, Ploshchad Vosstaniya, also suggested a co-ordinated attack.
Interfax said the bomber was known to have links to radical Islam.
The news agency said he died in a suicide blast and was identified through his remains. But the president's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, would not comment on reports a suicide bomber was to blame.
Another agency, Tass, reported that a woman may also have been involved in the explosion.

St Petersburg's metro system, which is used by more than two million passengers every day, has not suffered previous attacks.
Several transport hubs in Russia have, however, been attacked. In 2010, 38 people died in a double suicide bombing on the Moscow metro.
And a year later, a bomb exploded on a high-speed train travelling between Moscow and St Petersburg, killing 27 and injuring another 130.
Both attacks were claimed by Islamist groups.

Grandparents celebrate anniversary with adorable piano duet

An elderly couple’s grandson said his grandparents “… have loved music their entire life. The piano they’re playing in the video is actually a restored antique Steinway from the 1800’s.” This is quite evident in this video featuring his grandparents recreated a part of the Pixar movie, “Up.”

For their 60th wedding anniversary, the movie couple decided to recreate the characters of Carl and Ellie from the famous film. Their grandson was more than willing to help out. In the movie scene, Carl and Ellie are shown growing old together, smiling and laughing as photographs from their past scroll by in a heartwarming scene.
“They really loved the movie, and it was incredibly fun working with them for the video,” Jason Lyle Black, pianist, and grandson of the 80-Year-Old couple
.
Also included in the homemade celebratory video was Carl’s tennis-ball cane, and Black dressed as the Wilderness Explorer Russell from the movie. Black is a lifelong devoted fan of his grandparents’ piano duets. Since childhood,  he says the video is a “family treasure” for all nine kids and dozens of grandchildren. “The night we posted the video, we had the whole family together, and we had grandma’s cookies,” Black said. “It was perfect.”
Tissues ready? You are going to love this tender story told with love.
